For those who prefer to observe a scenery rich in history it is easy to reach and visit one of the most important monuments in Sicily: The Castle of Milazzo, a Medieval fortress from the 8th century surrounded by numerous walls and trenches.

Another famous monument is the Sanctuary of the Madonna of Tindari, constructed of peach coloured marble and situated on a cliff overlooking the Gulf and Portorosa, with an incredible view.
